I had a OBGY appointment. i was 17 week pregnant and weighed 150 lb. I had gained 6 lb. Alpha feto protein test was done on the day. This test is done to check whether there was any symptoms of down syndrome. the test reports should the result as 1 in 5000 was the ratio. nothing to panic.
